1. Lamington NP
Lamington National Park is Australia ’s prime location for sub-tropical rainforest birds and our backyard. Join us for a full day rainforest birding at either Binna Burra or O’Reilly’s and in the surrounding open forests. If you are not staying in the park, but want a day tour, we will pick you up from the Gold Coast. We also provide interpretive guided bushwalking tours in Lamington and adjacent national parks.
Birding highlights: Albert’s Lyrebird, Satin and Regent Bowerbirds, Noisy Pitta, Green Catbird, Paradise Riflebird, Wompoo Pigeon, King Parrot, Rose Robin, 3 spp of Scrub-wren, Logrunner and many more.

2. Gold Coast and Hinterland - one day 'Habitats Tour.'
The Gold Coast and Hinterland area is rich in species because of its diverse habitats. From Mountains to Mangroves and Wetlands to Mudflats, it's all possible in a day. 120 spp. have been seen on this tour. This tour includes Lamington National Park. Pick up on the Gold Coast. For birders staying in Brisbane there is an excellent train service to the Gold Coast.
*Some expected species: Pale-headed Rosella, King Parrot, Regent Bowerbird, Mangrove Gerygone, Double-barred Finch, Logrunner, Eastern Whipbird, Large-billed Scrub-wren, Wandering Whistling Duck, 3 spp of Fairy-Wren and Speckled Warbler.

3. Brisbane day tour.
The Brisbane area is also rich in diversity and over 100 spp are expected on this tour. The tour starts on the edge of Moreton Bay looking for waders and mangrove specialists, travels through grassland, open forest and rainforest before visiting freshwater wetlands.
*Some expected species: a variety of waders, Collard Kingfisher, Tawny Grassbird, Golden-headed Cisticola, Mangrove Honeyeater, Black-necked Stork, Royal Spoonbill, Red-necked Avocet, Pink-eared Duck, Chestnut Teal, New Holland Honeyeater, Wonga Pigeon and Powerful Owl.
Day tours include transfers, guiding and lunch. Price on application.

4. Three day 'Waves to Woodlands Birding'
Beginning on the coast, we search for seabirds from great coastal vantage points, and visit the mudflats and mangroves. We spend the first night in Lamington National Park. The next day is devoted to seeing as many rainforest species as possible before traveling to drier country visiting dams and wetlands. Our second night is spent in the Toowoomba area, where we visit a number of locations that always produce some special wetland and bushland species.
*Some expected species: Rufous fantail, Yellow-throated Scrub-wren, Pink-eared Duck, Speckled Warbler, White-throated Tree-creeper, Zebra Finch, Collared Kingfisher, Tawny Frogmouth, Grey Teal, Buff-banded Rail, Grey-crowned Babblers and many species of Honeyeaters and parrots.

5. Five day 'Best of the South-east'
Spend 5 days stopping at many great birding locations, form the coast to hundreds of kilometers inland. This trip takes in many habitats and will ensure a comprehensive list of Australian birds. If you want to see over a quarter of all Australia's bird species, than this is for you. Includes two nights staying in Lamington National Park and two nights at Girraween National Park.
Some expected species: Red-rumped Parrot, Turquoise Parrot, Diamond Firetail Finch, Cockatiel, Whistling Kite, Wedge-tailed Eagle, Brown Tree-creeper, Weebill, Yellow-tufted Honeyeater, White-winged Chough, Spotted Pardalote, Plum-headed Finch and Albert’s and Superb Lyrebird.
