Northern Australia
Birding
- June 22 to July 4 - in association with

Highlights include Darwin, Kakadu
NP, Pine Creek, Cairns, Michaelmas Cay, Daintree, Cape
Tibulation, Julateen, Mt Lewis and the Atherton Tableland. Over 300
spp are usually seen during this tour. Max 10

Birds and Wildlife Photo Adventure - North Queensland, the
Northern Territory and Lamington NP - Sept 7 to 21 - in a
association with Wildside Nature Tours
(USA)
Highlights include Lamington NP, Darwin, Kakadu NP, Pine
Creek, Cairns, Michaelmas Cay, Daintree, Cape Tibulation, Julateen,
Mt Lewis and the Atherton Tableland. Over 300 spp are usually seen

Eastern Australia
Birding - North Queensland, Lamington NP, Wollongong pelagic and the
Sydney Region - Oct 6 to 19 - in association with Birding Ecotours (South Africa).
Highlights include Cairns, Michaelmas Cay, Daintree, Cape Tibulation,
Julateen, Mt Lewis, the Atherton Tableland, Lamington NP, Wollongong
pelagic, Barren Grounds, the Blue Mountains and Capertee Valley.
Max 10 passengers.
Uluru and Alice Springs Oct 1 to 5 - in association
with Birding Ecotours.
Highlights include Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon
and Alice Springs. Max 10 passengers.
Tasmania - Oct 19 to 22 - in association with
Birding Ecotours.
Highlights include Mt Field NP and beautiful
Bruny Island home to all of Tasmania's endemic birds
including the Forty Spotted
Pardalote.
NB: The Uluru and Alice Springs and Tasmanian tours
are pre and post tour extensions for the Eastern Australia Birding
Tour but may be undertaken independantly of that tour if there
are spare seats.

This is an opportunity for bird photographers
to improve their photographic skills and to learn how to
find and identify birds by studying their behaviour, habits and
habitat in one of Queensland's birding
hotspots . Michael Snedic is a professional wildlife/bird
photographer and experienced photography tutor. His photos are
widely published and he has been a feature writer/photographer for
the Birdlife Australia magazine (and its predeccesor

Island, Pitt Island, Kaikoura, Abel Tasman National Park,
Collinwood, Farewell Spit, Motuara Island and the Queen
Charlotte Track - walking,
wildlife, culture and history. IPT is the only Australian
tour company operating tours to the remote and fascinating
Chatham Islands.
Tasmania - Western Wilderness - March 4 to 17 - from Davenport to Launceston via the Tarkine Wilderness,
Cradle Mt NP, Walls of Jerusalem NP and Strahan - walking,
wilderness, wildlife, botany, history and culture
Lava Tubes to Lawn Hill - July 6
- 21 - from Cairns to the amazing Undara Lava
Tubes then on to the Gulf of Carpenteria on the historic Gulflander
train that travels slowly from Croydon to Normanton. South to the
beautiful Boodjamulla (Lawn Hill) National Park then to Townsville
via Mt Isa, Richmond and Charters Towers. Includes a day dinosaur fossil
fossicking near Richmond.
